Humor in Law with Marshmallow Peeps

Humor in Law with Marshmallow Peeps

Each year, the American Bar Association Journal holds The Peeps in Law diorama contest. This year’s theme was “Stranger Peeps” a la the popular series “Stranger Things.” Entries are to be law-related featuring Peeps, the magical, multicolored marshmallow treats.

The competition has been going strong for ten years, and each year, members of the ABA take a break from their practice of law to spend significant time crafting creative and detailed dioramas featuring marshmallow Peeps. Entries are to make light of important legal issues of the day.

Votes are submitted by ABA members to determine the annual winners, and the top 3 entries each year are rewarded with bragging rights from the ABA journal.

At LaMonaca Law, we understand that humor has a place in the difficult, emotionally trying realm of Family Law, just as the ABA has found humor in complex legal issues. Our clients will find that throughout our representation, in addition to our legal advice and zealous representation, we will be a source of emotional support, empathy, empowerment, and of levity, humor, and camaraderie where appropriate.

We strive to ensure that our client achieve their goals with regard to our legal representation and obtain results in their family law matters. We also strive to ensure that our clients are emotionally supported and are in a position to accomplish their goals outside of the courtroom following the resolution of their case.
